Instaskate is an anticipated event for the top Instagram creator community, encouraging content creation via "Insta-worthy" photo opportunities and fun "boomerang" moments. Gallagher asked me to come up with several ideas for engaging photo moments. After providing several options, we moved forward with bringing a full size gingerbread house to life. Creators loved jumping through the tinsil "door," and hammed it up, interacting with an assortment of oversized candy props, including spinning lollipops--plenty of opportunities for influencers to create fun boomerang moments, and unexpected poses.
Guest traffic flow, lounge space, food service and back-of-house functions were all considered, and laid out in various floor plans. The design concept also included customized guest take-aways: Instagram branded winter hats and scarves.
